So the yard work saga continutes. Tonight for FHE we finished creating our square foot garden! It is finally done and ready to plant. This week will be the get plants and begin. We did plant two feet of butternut squash and six feet of bush beans. I will keep you all updated on how the garden grows.

Yard Work

Yesterday was such a nice day. Richard and I decided to get my square foot garden in. Richard wanted to weed the front flowerbeds before we started the garden which ended up turning in to an all day project of ripping all the old things out, putting weed barrier down, and planting new plants. My garden did not get finished (the boxes did get made) but I have a beautiful flower bed.

Race for the Cure

Yesterday I participated in Race for the Cure. It is such an inspiring event. To see all the people who breast cancer has touched their lives and all of the people who have survived it! If you have never participated I highly recommend it. I raced this year for my Grandmother Elaine Nelson and for Edna Elhringer.
